I'm a native Italian speaker translating from English and Portuguese (PT/BR) to Italian.
I have been a Portuguese specialist translator since 2016 and an active university student. I've immersed myself in the culture of Brazil and am now traveling between Lisbon and Milan. I love exploring new countries and have refined my English after many journeys abroad.
I translate mainly literature, but have a scientific background and passion for video game-related contexts.
I also have studied and mastered legal and audiovisual translation.
I use the most up-to-date CAT tools like WordFast, Memsource, and MemoQ.
I'm a Certified Translator from Linguist Training, an Accredited Examination Centre for the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CioL). Thanks to innovative platforms like Reedsy, I work with worldwide clients and have collected many exciting projects in my main fields.

LOCALIZATION
Localization refers to adapting documents for the foreign public; sometimes, a direct translation is required. Still, localization services can be fundamental when it comes to documents like marketing brochures, product information leaflets, blog posts, and websites.
That's why my aim is to provide an excellent translation, perfectly localized in the context of each country. Like any traveler lover, I developed a deep interest in the culture that rules human relationships.
In order to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings, localization is a powerful tool.
AUDIOVISUAL TRANSLATION: SUBTITLING
It's the process of translating spoken dialogue into written text on the screen.
Entertainment and knowledge have become global: it is necessary to provide fast, fluent, and accurate translations. The connection between two different worlds (communication and writing) is challenging but fascinating.
I've been in charge of translating and synchronizing the text of over 3000 projects between educational videos, tutorials, training, TV shows, interviews, documentaries, and coaching.
EDITING, PROOFREADING & POST-EDITING
A translation must always be crystal clear. After hours of work, a few mistakes may go unnoticed after a general check and thwart all efforts.
Professional editing and proofreading services combined together ensure the quality of the translation output for clients.
I provide editing and proofreading services for every document you need, including a keen eye to maintain also the original format of your file.
If needed, I also offer the post-editing service (the process of editing an automatic translation.)
